| Ecological glues for panel manufacture |
 |
| There has been a lot of research on the development of adhesives for panels manufacture that are based on natural polymers. Some of which have proved reasonably successful, e.g. tannin-based adhesives. This research should be combined with the general trend towards reducing transport costs. Consequently, staff at ESB are developing adhesives for particular panel types based on locally available natural polymers. In other words, they are not trying to develop a general purpose adhesive. |

| Overall Ranking: |
| Ranking*: | 1 | | *) Explanation | The rank denotes the importance the voters have attached to a topic. A small rank indicates great importance. The following code is used to calculate the rank: For each vote points are given according to the importance of the topic denoted by the voter (5 points for "essential", 1 point for "slight interest"). To reduce the weight of old votes those votes older than 1 year (2 years) are multiplied by the factor 0.5 (0.25). Votes older than 3 years are not counted anymore. |
