| Life Cycle Assessment and End of Life Strategies |

| It is now possible to measure a product’s environmental impact using the LCA methodology, which can also be the basis to make an environmental product declaration (EPD) or to improve an environmental profile by ecodesign methodology. Manufacturers are more and more made accountable for the end of life of their products. As only few data about the impact of different waste management strategies exist, there is a need for gathering and synthesizing them. Missing data have to be identified. |

| Overall Ranking: |
| Ranking*: | 7 | | *) Explanation | The rank denotes the importance the voters have attached to a topic. A small rank indicates great importance. The following code is used to calculate the rank: For each vote points are given according to the importance of the topic denoted by the voter (5 points for "essential", 1 point for "slight interest"). To reduce the weight of old votes those votes older than 1 year (2 years) are multiplied by the factor 0.5 (0.25). Votes older than 3 years are not counted anymore. |
